What makes glycerin soaps so good for your skin?
Glycerin attracts moisture. If you're in a humid area and leave a bar of our soap out overnight, you'll see beads of "sweat" in the morning. This is the moisture that's been attracted to the glycerin, and it's the reason glycerin is good for your skin from head to toe. If your tap water is treated with chemicals like fluoride or chlorine which may be damaging your skin, you'll want to have something that helps bring the natural moisture back to your body.
What should you know about using our soaps?
We use no "hardening" agents in our bar soaps.
What about shipping and storing glycerin soaps?
Without hardeners, the soap is soft. This means if you leave it in the car on a hot day, it may melt. If you're having the soap shipped to you, there's a possibility the soap may melt in the delivery truck if it's hot that day. Try to make sure the soap arrives someplace air-conditioned so it can cool down as soon as possible.
Can I leave it in the shower without worrying?
Without hardening agents, the glycerin soaps need to be in draining soap dish holders. If you leave the bar in a soap dish that holds water, too, the soap will appear to have "melted" into a puddle. Our bar soaps are great in the shower or bath, but you must use a draining soap holder or a soap frog to keep the bar above any standing water.
Some of our soaps contain 10% Vitamin D goat's milk. Goat's milk softens skin and has a delicate creamy lather. Our goat's milk soap is made with real liquid goat's milk as found in your neighborhood grocery store.
